Peeking posies

I fell in love with this Hero Arts stamp set a long time ago, bought it and put it in my blossom stamps box, and every time I saw it when looking for a stamp my heart skipped a beat all over again, but I have never inked them until now! I still love these to bits, so why didn't I use them before? This I cannot answer but they are "out" now, so no stopping me!
I coloured the images with Promarkers, and cut them out mounting them on a panel of watercolour paper sprayed with Glimmer Mists (failed experiment). The sentiment is also Hero Arts from a clear set, so pretty. I think the next one will be stamped with Brillance three colour ink pad, I didn't think of it for this one but it would work.
The picot edged ribbon was from Crafty Ribbons a long time ago, I do hope they still stock it because it is gorgeous!

I have entered the following challenges:
I love Promarkers - use more than one image
Our Creative Corner - Forgotten things (stamp set) Sept challenge (I would have entered sooner but I forgot who was doing this challenge, the reminder helped).

  5. Such a lovely card Cazzy and I'm so glad you finally inked up these fabulous stamps. Love that you were able to use a once abandoned piece of sprayed paper for the mount as it contrasts so well. Thanks for joining us at Our Creative Corner, hugs, Jenny x

  6. The card is so lovely and finding stamps you have hardly ever used is almost as good as if you "found a treasure" - (almost) for free! *lol

  7. Hi Cazzy, I remember wanting this stamp set when it first came out a few years ago, but I hesitated too long..... I wish I had got it now. Your card is beautiful and the lovely ribbon at the side co-ordinates so well. Thanks so much for joining in our Forgotten Things Challenge at Our Creative Corner. Anne x
