Angelberry card

Polkadoodles had a challenge running where you had to use an Angelberry image, and in case you didn't have one they gave this gorgeous one free for a limited time. So having got Quirky reminder out of the way I set to work colouring my angel, she was waiting for a few days, and I decided to go for all pinks and I even used two backing papers which I probably wouldn't have done, I liked her just in the silver frame on the white card. But no I need to use more papers, I have a small paper mountain which is no good to anyone if I don't use it!

I coloured her with Promarkers, she is very detailed, (and I made her very pink) and if I made her bigger it would have been easier to colour, I need more fine tips! I also used some metallic Promarkers, which are not great, I tried one a while back with a fine tip, it was brilliant, but the next time the tip had clogged up and I had to take it off. I will try again sometime with a new tip.

The papers were freebies, the sentiment was in a Bev's bag from Crafty Ribbons last Christmas (I think I won it), and I used Spellbinders die to cut out the image and silver fancy square behind.

So having completed her and photographed her at 4pm I found the challenge closed at midday and so I missed it, maybe I can enter the significant occasion one instead!
