This is the card on the desk, it looks a bit out of focus so I better try another one! The stamp is from Stampersaurus, I love this stamp and it seemed to me it should be dark, the lamps are on, there are stars and a lit candle in one window though I haven't seen it coloured like this! It took me a few hours to colour with Promarkers and Trias, then I die cut it with Spellbinders long deckled rectangles. I made the sentiment on the computer and cut a ribbon tag. Papers are Papermania, years old, and I added some fibres.
I have entered this card in the following challenges:
Creative Inspiration Paint - inspired by anything goes.
Some of you might not believe it but I had a good tidy up last night before taking this photo very late before I got to my bed!
You can see the card above, and a peeking kitty - work in progress, stamp from Crackerbox Palace, as well as some Unity Sheep, and the Alpha Challenge page which I will post seperately. Under the desk is visible, EEEEK!
View from the other end, and you can see Christmas images, well one of them by Penny Black, underneath you can't see I have Spyder Lyn and Dustin Pike images ready to go on cards. Yes I am trying to break the habit of a lifetime and get organised for Christmas! There are also some die cuts, I was playing with some new dies and made a fancy frame which I was considering putting peeking kitty into, but maybe it is a bit fancy for that!
In the background the tub of stash I am trying to sell is still there, I have taken a couple of bagfuls to the shop, and of course the minute I did someone asked if I had such and such. Well I retrieved one set of stamps from the shop, the other had sold. I saw an email Saturday when I logged on saying the shop was closed due to no volunteers, so I went over to open it up for a couple of hours. Not good to be closed on a Saturday afternoon. I didn't sell much, though there were lots of people coming in to look round, and later to shelter from the downpour. If I had seen the email earlier or had a phone call I could have got there at least an hour before I did.
The bench, eBosser surrounded by dies, and there are my Prismacolor pencils getting a long overdue airing!
This is an Itty Bitty stamp from Unity, the challenge for this week is to make something with a different Itty Bitty every day, however I only have one - can I do different versions do you think?
I stamped the image and sentiment onto black card with Stazon Cotton White, which is one of those weird pads that you get dry with a bottle of ink you put on the pad yourself. I added Prismacolour grass and a light blue shadow, or that is what it was supposed to be. DCWV paper. Die cut with Spellbinders.
Pancakes attempt 2, they are thinner. I used Doves Farm white bread flour which is made of rice among other things. I added some coconut milk too.Nom Nom.
This was a dish of quinoa, with samphire, passatta and Greek salad cheese. Maybe the passatta was a step too far.
I've been making smoothie ice pops!
Sooty and Alfie met two young Mini Schnauzers while out walking, they always love other Schnauzers! The new boys were called Mikey and Toby and were two years old.
Mikey eventually vanished into the crops, much to Alfie's amazement, and didn't come back out when we were there. He does it often apparently.
This was Sooty when he got back to the car!
LOL... and that is after the tidy up? How do you manage to do anything there isn't a bit of space spare... methinks you have too much stash! LOL Oh yum to those pancakes, they look delish and such cute photos of your dogs too! Annette #1 for the first time in 4 years!
ReplyDeleteSo glad I found the comments box!! Fabulously busy desk - looks just like mine did a couple of days ago. The dogs seemed to have a good time out! Hope the straw all came off before it was rubbed into your carpets.

So glad you tidied before us visitors came round, rofl1 Seriously, I too keep saying I need to get satrted on Christmas. Every year I leave it till the last minute, then don't enjoy it because of the rush. And last year, falling over, I really got caught out. Trouble is, I just can't fell Christmassy in August! Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz xx #22
ReplyDeleteHi Cazzy, wow that is a VERY busy desk! Looks like you're making good headway on your card making - I can't believe it's going to be August tomorrow - I'm already behind schedule with my crafty makes! Have a great week and give the dogs a tummy tickle from me - they're so cute! Thanks for your visit MMx #42
ReplyDeleteSorry about the website leaping about all over the place Cazzy. It seems to be a not so desirable feature of webeden!! Glad you persevered though - thanks!

The dogs look like they are having fun! Da, flipping dog didn't want to go home! I don't know the area (well not where it lives) and it knows all the back walks and side footpaths down to the beach and everywhere else and got me lost! It knows where all the taps are, she will only drink from a tap. Honestly I left home at 8 (My woyww post was on timer, I did look in to link but there was no Mr Linky) and got back at 11.45....... so I was late linking as quite honestly after a shower, I conked out in front of the telly and fell asleep! (Going to bed at 2 and getting up at 6.30 isn't good!)
ReplyDeleteNow your bench is wider than mine and you can get more 'stuff' on it, mine ends up on the floor, or moved to another room.
Great snoop, love the pages and the card!
Happy WOYWW
((Lyn)) I was last!:)
G'day Cazzy
ReplyDeletethanks for dropping by my blog for WOYWW and leaving a comment. Cazzy there are two Annettt's who play in WOYWW from Australia-Voodoo vixen and me. Sorry if we have confused you. Your clean busy desk still amazes me LOL. You have so much stash but then allot of paper crafters do. Have fun and yes I too am trying to get stuck into Christmas cards to avoid my inevitable mad dash I usually have in December to get them done.
hugs

OMG my heart started to have palpitations and the hands were twitching to get in there and start sorting things out for you. You poor thing being unable to do much, much pleased to hear you are continuing to improve, please do take it easy. Stay cool, it will help, and doing less helps to keep you cool.
ReplyDeleteHappy belated WOYWW
