It's Wednesday, I should be in bed, and will be soon but I thought I would post this now. Can't link it up to the wonderful Julia Dunnit's blog - The Stamping Ground, where us nosy crafters from all over the world go stamping (or stomping) round each other's desks to see what is occurring!
I know I owe comments to late commenters from last week, and I am sorry about that. There is a reason - I have had the dreaded lurgy since Saturday and still don't feel at all well. I haven't done any of the planned crafting at all. I have been coughing, eating frozen fruit with yogurt to try and soothe my throat, honey lemon and ginger drinks (well lime to begin with because I ran out of lemons), pain killers, slept all day Sunday, then couldn't sleep Sunday night, and it still continues and seems to morph into something worse as it goes. I am pretty sure I caught it from my little grandson, he wasn't well and gave me such a lovely kiss one day the previous weekend when he was here!
I did some more crochet last week, but I can't show you that yet.
What is on my very cluttered desk, well I won again - this time I won some stamps from Crafty Individuals, I spotted a giveaway on their blog on Monday night, or was it early Tuesday morning when I couldn't sleep? Anyway they showed a couple of pretty projects, the last one was made with one main stamp and we were asked if we could identify three stamps or sets that were used to add other elements. There were in fact 4, but I just couldn't find the bunny - which turned out to be a hare. The winner was the first one to email the correct answer - and that was me! So I won 4 lovely stamps, two are sets - how lucky am I after last week's voucher win too! I was thrilled to bits especially as I thought I was getting three not four! The Inkylicious water drops stamp behind is one I bought recently. I wanted water drops and this was a cheaper alternative than the rubber sets I have seen previously.
So sorry to hear you're not feeling well at all, but it sounds like you're doing everything possible.....just takes time and rest.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the win, beautiful stamps to play with, but what really caught my eye was the water drops you bought, must check the linky out.....I really could use those.
Thanks for sharing, hope you get to feeling better soon.

Sorry you've been feeling so poorly, but I hope the thought of working with all those lovely new toys takes your mind off it. Have a good week, Chris # 8
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon Cazzy! Beautiful stamps! I can't believe you won all those, you lucky girl! Makes your illness less unfair, doesn't it? Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa @ InkyDinkyDoodle #39
ReplyDeleteOh, I am such a fan for Crafty Individuals! And I am envious of your prize! :) I hope you get to feeling better, quickly! #65
ReplyDeleteI have lost count of how many people have had colds. Thank goodness mine seems to have cleared up, hope you are feeling better soon. Hope you have a great crafty week when you feel in the mood, Angela x 28
ReplyDeleteOoh Cazzy, you have got it bad - give in, get to bed and nurse it till it goes....Horrid for you, hope you feel better daily. A generous prize from Crafty Individuals I must say; I don't have a single one of their stamps, I really should recitfy that - and then I can blame you as the enabler!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats for your win, that was not bad for someone being so sick. I hope you are well soon. I am sick myself, they call me snotty pudding head at home.
ReplyDeleteCheers

Hope you're feeling tip top now and ready for crafty fun. I'm having a little late trip round the desks as life just gets in the way on a Wednesday sometimes.
