Here is my card for the Hero Arts inchies challenge. This is the first time I have made inchies, so I hope they are O.K. with wavy edges, left the blade in and thought it was a nice effect so stayed with it!
Hero Arts clear set of jungle creatures for the monkey, leaves, duck and sentiments, Hero Arts Pattern Flowers stamp for background of inchies and the card. Two buttons with ribbons, leaves attached with green brads and green ribbons.

I knew I would do this - new stamps
I bought the same set of clear Inkadinkadoo bird stamps twice, from different places ebay and a USA shop. Because it wasn't on ebay waiting for feedback I forgot I had ordered it already!
I think I have another wood backed stamp that is a duplicate on the way too, but I won't know for sure until it arrives as it could be a different size!
Here are some of my new clear stamp sets, including the birds I now have two of.

Cow card
Now I hope my information that this young lady likes cows is correct, otherwise she could take offence!
I cut the oval with my nestabilities dies in the Wizard, and cut the lining to match but didn't make a good job of that so had to add some ribbon inside to cover up the error!
The paper is by Papermania, the stamp which I decoupaged was from a set of 4 but there is no make on it, polka dot ribbon with Making Memories "Happy Birthday" tag on it, Acucut alphabet die cut letters in sparkly lilac, Prima and Bazzil flowers, Papermania brads and some gems, cow punchie coloured with black pen to finish.
If you see this before you open it - Happy Birthday Vanessa!

What does your taste in chocolate say about you?
This is fun, not sure it is entirely me or maybe I am in denial!
What Your Taste in Chocolate Says About You |
You are sweet, mellow, and easily satisfied. You don't like anything too intense and dramatic. Deep down, you're a kid at heart... and you're nostalgic for the past. You are emotionally expressive and sensitive. You're effected by everything around you. Your friends appreciate your open heart, but they are afraid of hurting your feelings. You love to be in love. You crave romance, whether you're single or not. You feel lost when you don't feel passion... you need someone to adore. |

Fresh look for this file, for stamp storage
This is an A5 concentina file that I realised would be the right size for most of my clear stamps, but it needed to be prettified so I gave it a fresh new look, and entered it into the This Thursday challenge.
I hope you like it.
Also here is a better look at the lovely card that Craftling Heather send me with the blog candy I won. Isn't it good!

To pierce or not to pierce?
Ha, I bet you thought this was something else, not about asparagus packaging!
On Friday I bought some microwave in the bag fresh veg and some "fresh" prawns from Tesco Express for my lunch.
My first dilemma was the Asparagus, the potatoes were clearly marked to put on their face and do not pierce, the asparagus had a label that said pierce several times - but as I was about to plunge the knife into the pack (which luckily was still on it's back to read the label) I spotted words across it saying "do not pierce". Well what should I do? I reasoned that the pack was the same sort as the potatoes so put it in and hoped for the best, and the mange tout bag was totally different so piercing was in order!
Then I got to the "fresh" prawns. I hadn't been impressed by the rearrangement of the shelves in the shop where every cooked product had a raw one sitting next to it, and neither was the girl who worked there and had been on holiday. I couldn't find smoked salmon or makerel, so had to settle for the prawns.
As I opened the pack to have with my now cooked veg and put the fork in there was the crunch of ice! I didn't have time to go back, and my veg would have been cold so I had to run the prawns under the cold tap and hope they thawed out, and that my veg was still hot!
I don't think I will repeat that in a hurry!
I had my Messy Crafter award goodies from Margaret "Lonely Crafter" on Card Making and Papercrafts forum today, it is a lovely stamp of an oriental lady carrying a tea tray and some 3d Papermania stickers and I will take a photo tomorrow hopefully.

Challenge card - stamped image swap 2
The poppy image is the stamp image swap card, also I have added a red heart gem to the love birds cards, it needed something but not the best heart shaped gem really!
The poppy image has been coloured with brush markers, and mounted on gold card, then on Hanko dragonfly paper, which is fixed with dragonfly eyelets, and finally I added a lantern charm with gold cord.

Challenge birdie card
I had some new Hero Art stamps today, just in time to make a bird card for the challenge ending Thursday! I bought a few of these collage stamps, not entirely sure how to use them yet, different colours? Same colours like this? Did a little decoupage, should it be in different colour? Then how to put them on a card, well I used this felt border which I think is Queen and Co, can't find the pack! I ruined the first card as I stuck it with tacky glue - too much and it wouldn't dry so I got the heat gun, and it eventually started to melt and singe!
I think the card is missing something in the top right corner, not sure what yet!
I also had more stamps yesterday, but sadly there was a hole in the packet and one little second hand hedgehog stamp escaped!

I won blog candy - whoo hooo
How lovely, I was picked at random by Heather to win her lovely blog candy!
Heather's blogThanks very much Heather!
I'm rearranging my craft room
I had the urge to rearrange my craft room last night, I can't stand it any longer. I am trying to come up with ways of putting everything tidy, so the bottom shelf of my teddy bear collection was emptied, and I put books from the cupboard on it.
I also had to squeeze the shelf up a bit, sorry teddies - you look a bit uncomfortable squashed in there!
Then I re-photographed any changed stamp boxes, and the new ones, and labelled them.
I have managed to get 8 boxes in the cupboard, but the other stuff in there now needs a new home.
Also the teddies need a new home!
I am going to put the UM stamp Lever Arch folders back in the cupboard and see if there is more room as I have 4 binders of Craft Stamper magazine and this years magazines to put in a binder. (got all the other mags but these are the only ones that I put in binders).
It would be nice to get all the clear stamp folders in the cupboard but more stuff will have to move.
I think the cuttlebug folders, not yet tried, can go in the purple boxes with the dies, also the spare plates for the die cutters - I actually have two eyelet setting plates for the Wizard, I think it only uses one and I haven't tried it out!
There is still a long way to go but I think it is getting better! Also if the boxes my son has for selling on Ebay go it will make a difference!
Today my son gave me back the network connector, so he can't go on Ebay and buy any more stuff when he is in his bedroom - methinks I should do the same before it is too late!
