WOYWW #277

On this most auspicious of days, the day we go round looking in wonder (or horror) at each other's working spaces, I haven't got just one horrific photo, but several!
I tried to do something clever with captions -and failed to save it in a suitable format! Fed up with that now, so no captions!
You can see:
At front of photo: new dies arrived today, with some original Spellbinders dies I have got out to try, Coordinations wasn't invented when I bought these dies so I am deciding if I like them better now, or if they will go up for sale.
I have Banana Frog alphabets, two sets I bought in a mad bundle deal of used stuff in a 12"x12" Really Useful Box, and have only just looked at. One stamp set disintigrated when I handled it, these look good but they are all muddled up - oh boy!
Zebra striped fur jewellery making tool set, I fixed a couple of things, and have a bracelet I was going to finally fix but can I find the clasp bar- no! It has to be here somewhere!
Basket at back is full of finished or nearly finished cards, next to it is a box of adhesives in use (there is a RUB full elsewhere).
On the trimmer is a pack of glue dispensers just arrived, I have taken one out now I need to find where I put the Cosmic Shimmer that I want to put im them, the small one that has a wrecked nozzle.
Next to the adhesives are two boxes, one is full of Fresco paints, the one underneath is full of Distress inks, oh between the cards and adhesives is a basket full of paint bottles but you can't see it!
Next to the paints and inks is my ATG currently empty as I am making myself use up reels of DST before I refill it! It is hard, but has to be done.
Then another basket full of mediums, and it should have my antistatic bag in it but I can't find that and I need it!
On the floor (notice I vacuumed the rug - no - well I did and with the little hand held Dyson which I emptied first so I could check the contents for anything "valuable" that might have been on the floor!).
Also the purple tote bag has the Crossover in it.
Behind the desk is a stack of packaging, boxes etc that I have saved in case I need to post some of the stuff I am selling.
There is a lot more going on but I can't detail it all!

View from the other end, I have swept the desk a little, you can see woodgrain! The pink embellishements in the pot of stamps were those that I won with some Prima art doll stamps recently in Gayle's new craft room candy.

I thought I would sit in my chair and take a shot of what I see when crafting, although I am closer to it so don't really see this much if you see what I mean! The box full of offcuts needs seriously decluttering, I normally hand over a bag to the neighbour's who have children and are teachers so put it to good use. In the middle baskets of yarn and material. I can't do all my hobbies fast enough!
The metal Tim Holtz box is full of ink pads, and is a bit of a sore point with me, I bought it second hand from someone on UK Scrappers, it had a bit of a dent in it but seemed fine at first, then the hinge kept coming apart! It must have been faulty when they sold it to me, and there was another one up for sale just afterwards that was brand new and cheaper, I so wish I had bought that one too, then I would have one that is good. Mine is held together with duct tape! Sorry if I have ranted about this before!

This is the other end under the desk, I have a blue bin for recycling bits, and two boxes full of paper pads, which don't include any 12"x12" and some other larger format pads which are in various organisers on the shelves (or floor), and Christmas papers are in an A4 RUB.
I have two of those Art Bin die totes, for smaller dies. I see you can get larger ones now, I have dies stored in so many different ways, the larger ones might be appealing but I can imagine they will be so heavy it might not really be practical for me. See one of my new die sets, a Creative Crafting Bow set, and if you look carefully on the zebra print jewellery tool case you can make out a lime green bow - my first cut with these dies.

I nearly forgot - hop on over to The Stamping Ground to see lots more desks and join in!

Maybe I should sell the Big Shot now I have the Crossover. I looked in a drawer of stuff, but it was all stuff I put in there because I wanted it, and still feel that I do! Come and rummage! x

  9. Such fun to get the crafter's eye view of what all you've got going on your desk. It sounds as if you know where everything is, which is what counts. Hope you're having a happy WOYWW! ~ Laura #80
