Quirky pumpkins - reminder part 1

Hi everyone, I added this reminder card to the Quirky Blog last night but I was too tired to make the other cards I want to show you, I had a really bad night and didn't get much sleep on Saturday night, so my brain was feeling fried, I sat and looked at the bits for the next project but couldn't make them so decided I had to go to bed!

Anyway this card is made using Witch with Pumpkins from Limited Runs who are one of our two great sponsors, the challenge is Pumpkin Time, and all you have to do is include pumpkins in your project.

I coloured the image with Promarkers and Trias, die cut it with my one and only Grand Nestabilities die set by Spellbinders, added a purple mat, then a green mat with halloween ribbons by Crafty Ribbons, and layered the whole thing onto an orange card. Maybe I should have used black to make it really stand out!

I added eyelets, which I think are Eyelet Outlet ones.

The reason I was late with this: I spent the week organising a surprise meal for my parent's 60th wedding anniversary and getting 18 people booked in for a meal without my parents knowing (Mum said she guessed 6 weeks ago, pretty good seeing as I didn't start on this until a week or so before). It was a great success and I will show you the card I made for that later. Apart from that I was driving round different places dropping off a letter asking local companies for donations of lots for our auction on Friday, and I was also not well for most of the week. So by Saturday evening and the meal I was shattered, then didn't sleep, had a house full of family who came for the meal and stayed over, and was trying to get the reminder up ready and make something for it!
