A Quirky Vintage Christmas, altered item

Monica set us the challenge to alter an object in a vintage Christmas style. I have used images and backing paper kindly provided by our sponsor who is Stitchy Bear. I have a few of these hot chocolate tins - really I do, so decided to make a small gift container, now I just need to find a suitable small item or items to go inside!
I used the Lil Diva Winterville scene on the front of my tin, very vintage. and I added touches of colour with Promarkers, before adhering with Decopatch, and sealing with sparkly Mod Podge.

The top and back of my tin are covered with lovely 3d effect poinsettia paper and two poinsettia corners from the Coosty Collection from Stitchy Bear Digital stamps. I added a length of ribbon to the lid brim and then three gems to match the colours.

The vintage lady is from the Stitchy Bear range and is called Window Shopping, I think she is just stepping into the scene on her way to the church, she is dressed up for church I think. She is 1 3/4 inches high here or 4cm. There are smudges of Treasure Gold in gold here, I just got my first pot from Paperartsy a couple of days ago, with some EZ mount and a couple of stamps, and  free stamp!

On the back of my tin I added the Li'l Angel from Li'l Diva's at Stitchy Bear Digital stamps. I deliberately cropped off the lid because I didn't finish the ribbon well at all!

Now hop on over to Quirky Crafts Challenge blog to see some much better projects by the rest of the team, and come and play with us - you might win some of the lovely images I have used!

I have entered the following challenges:
Allsorts challenge - bring on the bling (Saturdays)
Anything but a card - recycle it - (Sundays) (max 4 challenges)
Crafts Too November challenge - vintage Christmas Polychromatic twist.
Cute Card Thursdays - anything but a card.
Well that's my lot if I don't want to be eliminated from number 2 challenge!
